This course is for Windows system administrators, system engineers, technical support personnel, and system integration/development staff who will be installing, operating, or integrating VERITAS Volume Manager.

Voraussetzungen

You should be thoroughly familiar with basic Windows system administration.

Inhalt

This training shows you how to install and configure VERITAS Volume Manager and how to manage disks, disk groups, and volumes. This course also covers offline and off-host processing and introduces basic troubleshooting, performance tuning, and recovery techniques.

 

You will also learn to:

• Create and manage virtual volumes and volume snapshots
• Perform disk group move, split, and join operations
• Implement off-host processing techniques
• Resize volumes, change volume layouts, and manage volume tasks
• Perform basic recovery operations
