This course is designed for system administrators, system engineers and other technical roles involved in the deployment, support and operation of a VERITAS Cluster Server™ installation incorporating VERITAS Volume Manager™.

Voraussetzungen

You should have knowledge of VERITAS Cluster Server™ to a level equivalent to that gained by attending the VERITAS Cluster Server™ for Microsoft Windows 2000 Part 1 Course.

Inhalt

After attending this course you will be able to:

• Define and configure advanced service group dependencies given business, security or environmental requirements
• Improve availability of services by implementing local network failover across multiple network interfaces
• Configure the Internet Information Server Enterprise Agent to recommended guidelines
• Configure the SQL Server Enterprise Agent to recommended guidelines
• Configure the Exchange Server Enterprise Agent to recommended guidelines
• Create a new custom resource type based on an existing resource type, through modification of the appropriate files
